Developer-controlled native keyboard smoke test, 2026-10-02 UTC.
This is NOT a new-user enjoyment study. Tester authored and knew the rules/routes.

Launch through Xfce Run: sh <game folder>/play.sh.
Observed room1 RRR: first move leaves shadow still; subsequent remembered moves follow.
Clear freezes subsequent Left input at 3 turns.
Z restores 2-turn state, player/echo positions, closed exit and remembered Right.
R resets positions, turn count and remembered Wait.
DD causes player-first collision. Right after collision is frozen; Z restores 1 turn.
Tab selects room2 and resets its state.

Issue found: original app guard refused commands while 10-frame tween ran.
A short sequence of separate key presses registered only three of four commands.
Changed app.act to permit interrupting the purely visual tween; terminal states stay frozen.
Relaunched final build. Room2 LLLURRDR registered all 8 turns and cleared.
Midpoint 4 turns: player is still at starting wall, echo holds S, exit open, next arrow Up.
manual_runtime.png records final room2 clear through F12 in normal/manual mode.
manual_runtime_events.json records the 8 keyboard-command transitions of final build.

Bound synthetic Escape sometimes did not register; native desktop Escape held200ms closed.
Both Echo Steps windows were gone from desktop inventory before release to independent QA.
No audible sound claim: cloud audio initialization is unavailable; initial mute is explicit.
